Office Dares (how to stay sane at work)

November 30th, 2006 by Matthew Jabs

In honor of “The Office“, here are some fun office tricks that may earn you some points! Office humor

ONE-POINT OFFICE DARES

  • Run one lap around the office at top speed.
  • Ignore the first five people who say ‘good morning’ to you.
  • Phone someone in the office you barely know, leave your name and say, “Just called to say I can’t talk right now. Bye.”
  • To signal the end of a conversation, clamp your hands over your ears and grimace.
  • Leave your zipper open for one hour. If anyone points it out, say, “Sorry, I really prefer it this way.”

    Walk sideways to the photocopier.

        • While riding in an elevator, gasp dramatically every time the doors open.

November 30th, 2006 by Matthew Jabs

In my previous post, I gave you a link to a program that could burn ISO images. This post is related & will help you learn how to burn DVDs. Also, once the DVD has been ripped & copied to your hard drive, you can make an ISO image, so that you can burn it to a new DVD anytime you want! Very handy just-in-case your DVDs get scratched!

Easily create .iso images to burn DVDs

November 30th, 2006 by Matthew Jabs

I have been looking for a program like this for years! This program, called Folder2Iso, allows you to do just that; you click on the program, select a folder that you want to create an ISO image of, select the output folder, & you’re done!!

        Folder2Iso

It is a GUI of the mkisofs program (cdrtools).

How to become an early riser

November 29th, 2006 by Matthew Jabs

If there is one thing I struggle with it’s getting my butt out of bed in the mornings! My problem isn’t so much with getting up early as it is with going to bed at a decent hour! I find that, most of the time, when I stay up late, I’m usually just wasting time watching TV. Does this sound like you? Well, I may be able to help you, or should I say, point you to someone who can help.
        Early Riser
I have posted a few links that are sure to help you get up with the roosters! If this can’t help you, you may be a lost cause…
