Techies and Non-Techies
February 5th, 2007 by Matthew Jabs
This is hilarious!
I myself am a “computer guy” and this should be classified as true Reality TV! Tech geeks usually know the equipment and software so thoroughly, that they toss around terms like driver, patch cable, switch, and ISP like they should be common knowledge.
The truth is, we geeks use such terms so commonly, and they’re so ingrained in our vocabularies, that they slip out completely unwittingly! One of my biggest goals as an IT Director is to improve communication between techies and non-techies!
David Lee King has compiled (there I go again), or gathered if you will, a list of helpful links on the subject.
Please enjoy this video of Nick Burns, “Your Company’s Computer Guy”…and don’t be afraid to laugh out loud with familiarity.
