5 Blogs That Make Me Think
April 10th, 2007 by Matthew Jabs
Okay…finally, I’m replying to two tags I received on the “5 blogs that make me think” mime.
Chris at Thermal and RT at UntwistedVortex both tagged me a while back, and I’m just now able to reply. I’m actually pretty excited to pen this article because it gives me an opportunity to give a “shot-out” to some of my most read bloggers. If you do not find yourself in this list, please understand that I can’t list everyone in my 5, and continue loving me anyway. ![]()
Without further ado…here are 5 Blogs that make me think:
- GeniusTypes - Brian Lee authors this great blog that topped my list due to the help I’ve received from it’s content. To this day, geniustypes.com remains the only blog that I’ve ever actually donated to. His articles are very thorough and complete and are mostly pertaining to self-improvement and passive income, both of which I’m passionate about. Thanks Brian.
- Lorelle on WordPress - Lorelle VanFossen is a facinating individual with many talents including, but not limited to, public speaker, web consultant, and traveling transient. If that doesn’t make you think than what does? Her blog, Lorelle on WordPress, has been an indispensable tool for me while developing and maintaining eJabs. Some of my most popular posts are due to my links being picked up by this knowledge filled blog. Thanks Lorelle.
- OrganicParade - A health conscience blog written by Samantha Yeap. Samm is a mother of 2 boys who were helped into this world by Samm’s 2002 quest toward an organic lifestyle. She was facing infertility concerns, and decided to take matters into her own hands. Now she authors a fantastic blog featuring loads of great information on living life more naturally. I am always inspired by Samm’s articles. Thanks Samm.
- Steve Pavlina - I tried to leave Steve out (because he’s already so popular), but simply couldn’t. After all, if I hadn’t stumbled upon his blog, you wouldn’t be reading eJabs at all. That’s right…Steve’s article on 10 reasons you should never get a job inspired me to read further, and after reading further, I discovered his article on how to make money from your blog; and here I am! Thanks Steve.
- UntwistedVortex - I don’t usually include a blogger who tagged me in a list, but let’s face it, I read RT’s blog more than any other blog, which should pretty much sum it up. One of the things I love about UV is the way it engages readers in discussion; discussion which I have become very involved in (I’m his top commentator). Thanks RT.
There you have it folks…5 blogs that make me think! Don’t worry, there are lot’s more, these were the five that came to me first. If you haven’t already, stop by some of these blogs to check out what’s going on.

Oh, so you pick RT’s blog, but not mine eh?
Good list Matthew, I’ve read 3, I shall have to check the other 2. Finding Steve Pavlina inspired me to start blogging as well - probably not his proudest moment
I knew this would befall me. That’s why I don’t like doing these…you always have to leave people out!
Sorry Chris. Does it help that I read your blog every day without fail, you’re on my blogroll, I comment on your site quite often, and you can leap tall buildings in a single bound?
Matt, I appreciate the tag, but I was the one who tagged you. I tagged Chris at the same time, so you don’t have to feel bad about missing him.
See what happens when you take a vacation?
