Host with a “cool” hosting company…who’s your GoDaddy?

April 19th, 2007 by Matthew Jabs

Even though I don’t use GoDaddy.com to host eJabs.com, I’m thinking I may have been a lot cooler if I did! I was just poking around the net when I saw Danica Patrick on the front of the GoDaddy.com website (maybe she’s still there, maybe not). So of course, like any red-blooded man, I clicked on Danica to see what was up. It immediately took me to the GoDaddy picture portal where they had all kinds of photos from different marketing events around the country.

Well apparently the owner of GoDaddy, Bob Parsons, is quite the “player”, or business man…which ever way you see it. Anyway, he appears to be a big racing fan and a big motorcycle fan, which makes him cool in my book! The coolest thing is that GoDaddy has their very own Orange County Choppers custom made bike! Click here and go to page 6 to see the bike. There’s like 23 photos of it, and it is sweet!

Bob has his own “blog” type website Hot Points and has seemingly put together a “pretty cool” web hosting company! If nothing else, he is a PR genius! Is your web hosting company this cool? I doubt it, I know mine isn’t…but hey, they do a great job all the same!

Does anyone use GoDaddy for hosting? Are they any good? Would you recommend them? Let us know…thanks!

Godaddy.com is awesome. I use them for registering all my domain names. Needless to say, but they score about $1000 per year out of my pocket. I should start selling em’

Thanks Garry…how many websites do you have? $1,000 should buy you quite a few! ;-)

$1000 dollars pays for the annual registrations. I have over 100 domain names.

I only have about 25 sites that are up and running. I really need to figure out a way to clone myself, because I have way too many irons in the fire. I honestly spread myself too thin. But, my ideas and concepts work… so I have to execute them. But my issue is follow through. I don’t have time to run all the sites and if I was in a position to hire staff they would be extremely successful.

For the most part, I am now staying focused on Garry Conn dot Com. I really enjoy writing on that site because for the readers, what you see is what you get, that is me!
